Ok. So what I'm up to in Howl's Moving Castle....well a lot about it is learning more about Howl; his curse, his 'love' life, his family, and the Witch of the Waste.
So this image I made with Photoshop CS3. The guy being Howl and the girl being Sophie. So when I made this image I was thinking about how Howl is always to himself. Also how he has this curse on him that Sophie needs to figure out. Also when I was making this image I thought about how everything is a mystery. From the reason why Howl has Calcifer, why he goes around with other girls, and why he keeps Sophie around. I found a picture where the girl is looking away and used it because I wanted it to seem like no matter how hard Sophie tries, she can never figure Howl out. She feels as if the curse she has on her is pushing her away from Howl. I used the picture of the guy looking towards the sky/up because um well he's pretty much hoping for someone to save him. To free him from his curse. I made it seem that no matter how hard he hopes for happiness and freedom, he won't get it. And the neaklace in the middle....I put it there because well it shows that what both Sophie and Howl want is right in front of them but they have to figure it out and claim the neaklace ( neaklace=spell to break the curse) and to be free. So yup. That's about it.

WOW! That's a pretty image. It really expresses what you're trying to say. On top of that i saw the movie, so i know what you're talking about. Did you see the movie? How different is the book? Should i read it? Wow i sound like a girl from a commercial. hehe! I really like the image. Teach me!!!
The pictures was so pretty! Another work of art Nicole! I love the necklace and how you incorporate that with Sophie and Howl. However, I think that you shouuld've put some fire in the image because of Calcifer and how he is one of the reasons that Howl is "secretive and mysterious".
I love your interpretation of the book so far. The picture really does tell a story of its own, a mysterious one. I love how the necklace is in the middle and it represents the freedom from the curse Howl has. I also agree with Zoe about the fire and Calcifer (unless that would've ruined the picture...).
